Commercial Controller
- Monitor Gross profits results to coordinate variance reporting and analysis of year-to-date and forecast performance against expectations.
- Provide Financial support and guidance to the Commercial team.
- Consolidate and analyze market data taking into account commercial department goals.
- Consult with the Chief Commercial Officer to guide and influence long-term and strategic decision-making within the broadest scope.
- Support commercial activities by partnering with the sales and marketing section within the commercial department. To support the Chief Commercial Officer in the standardization of processes within the team to ensure activities are performed efficiently and to high standard. make sure the team adherence to company policy of no surprises through rigorous analysis and reconciliation.
- Support controllership in external and internal audits for commercial department.
- Function as important chain between Commercial and Finance department to effectively deliver adequately support.
- Responsible for preparation of gross profit (GP) budget per Product line, Service line and company and assist commercial team in execution of activities according to this plan.
- Commercially support different business units in defining appropriate planned resources, reports, controls and ensure achievement of commercial department objectives.
- Monitoring, reporting and analysis of company GP performance by providing commercial team with necessary information, monthly GP results analyses and proactive advice (e.g. margin analysis, customer profitability). Support Pricing Lead on key enquiries.
Support The Cihef Commercial Manager by Reviewing sales contract and provide any required pricing analysis. - Act as key business partner to support and challenge sales team with ad hoc sales and margin reporting as requested.
- Monitoring Oil market pricing data.
- Identifying opportunities & Risk.
- Identify and collect appropriate quantitative, and qualitative data to analyze market and customer trends, development, competition and forecast.
- Responsible for review and Approval Prices for international Market.
- Responsible for OIl products tendering and purchase process, amongst other preparation of tender documents, invitations to suppliers, prepare offer analysis, negotiation with suppliers, keeping documentation related to tender in order and manage purchase contract process.
- Monitors inventory stock levels closely for timely re-supply and coordinates with suppliers according to terms of agreements.
- maintain continually communication whit operations department for import planning and vessel schedule.
- Prepare weekly payment forecast and report stock status for Finance department.
- Measure corporate performance translated into KPI's.
- Manage vendor information and documentation, including products services and business reputation. Support the Chief Commercial Officer on all strategic and financial and adhoc request.
- Responsible for onboarding suppliers process.
