· Provide Financial support and guidance to the Commercial Team
· Consolidate and analyze market data taking into account the commercial department goals
· Consult with Commercial Manager to guide and influence long term and strategic decision making within the broadest scope.
· Support commercial activities by partnering with sales and marketing section within the commercial department.
· To support the Commercial Manager in the standardization of processes within the team to ensure activities are performed efficiently and to a high standard
· Adherence to the company policy of no surprises through rigorous analysis and reconciliation
· Support controllership in external and internal audits for the commercial department
· Function as the important chain between Commercial and Finance to effectively deliver adequately support.
· Responsible for the preparation of the gross profit (GP) budget per Product line, Service line and company and assist the commercial team in the execution of activities according to this plan.
· Commercially support different business units in defining appropriate planned resources, reports, controls and ensure achievement of the commercial department objectives
· Monitoring, reporting and analysis of the commercial department GP performance by providing the commercial team with necessary information, monthly GP results analyses and proactive advice (e.g. margin analysis, customer profitability)
· Support Pricing Lead on key enquiries.
· To support the Commercial Manager by Reviewing sales contract and provide any required pricing analysis
· Ensure Inventory Stock
· Ensure timely tendering trading products
· Assist with trading products tendering process
· Prepare trading products offer evaluations
· Maintain good records of tendering process, including communication, offers evaluation contracts etc.
· Act as key business partner to support and challenge the sales team with ad hoc sales and margin reporting as requested
· Support the Commercial Manager on all strategic and financial requests
· Support the Commercial Manager on all projects and ad hoc requests
